What are Lipoma & Cyst?

  • Cysts are closed sacs filled with fluid or keratin.Both are benign (non-cancerous) but may grow in size or cause discomfort.

What is the removal procedure?

  • The procedure involves surgically excising the lump under local anesthesia.​

  • Complete removal prevents recurrence and can be done as a day-care procedure.

What are the risks?
  • Minor scarring

  • Low risk of infection or recurrence

  • Bruising or swelling at the site (temporary)

  • All aspects will be explained by Ms. Aggarwal during the consultation.

What is the recovery time?
  • Return to light activity the same day

  • Sutures removed in 5–7 days (if used)

  • Full healing in 1–2 weeks

  • Minimal downtime
